RUMOR: Generation Me Returning To TNA?

Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks just tweeted the following:

For those who don't know, Matt Jackson's name was Max Buck when he and his brother Nick Jackson (aka Jeremy Buck) wrestled in TNA as Generation Me. Take this with an extreme grain of salt as the two are still touring with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

dammit. Get them away from my television.

Ugh, please not The Cabbage Patch Kids!

Oh no....hoping it's not them that's going to be appearing this Thursday. So many fans are expecting the American Pitbulls. This would just be too heartbreaking for fans.

The need some protein shake and some of those "supplements" Big puppa pump uses and they are good to go. And change their 80's WWF rockers look.

God please no.

they look like girls.

Bucks or whatever your name is, please do everyone a favor and do not come back to TNA.

Say what you want about their looks, they are still one of the best tag teams in the business.

Yes, you´re right, TNA need´s good Wrestler´s

You guys are insane.  This would be great news!  Aside from that, Gen Me coming back wouldn't preclude the American Wolves from coming in.  They broke up James Storm and Gunner.  Eric Young and Joseph can't go on too much longer as a team as Park continues his transformation.  They will need two new teams just to keep the same anemic tag division they've had.

The only sticking point is they need face teams, and Gen Me cut some of the blandest face promos I've ever seen (they're okay, but not great, at heel promos.) The Wolves can't cut promos at all.

The only people who can make Bo Dallas look threatening.

I don't care they're small as rats, they'll rock the TNA. Best tag team in indies nowadays.

Honestly, I didn't have an ounce of respect for these guys until I watched Wrestle Kingdom 8.  When they came on, I'd either fast forward or change the channel.

They absolutely won me over at WK8.  They still don't have the physique I'd like, but man, can these guys work.  And man, can they draw heat.

I've since gone back to watch some of their stuff from PWG, and I'm really sorry that I've been fast forwarding past them all these years.

the actual wrestling is overrated. when you're putting on a TV show IMO the look/image/style/mic work is more important than how they can wrestle. most of your audience doesn't give a shit whether it's a 5 star match or a 3 star match.

Yeah look how the focus on wrestlers look/image/style/mic work has REALLY worked out over the past 4 years!  Theyve literally sextupled their audience!

Storylines and the like have very rarely been the draw for TNA.  Its been the quality of the wrestling. The X-Division had been TNAs shining light between 2002 and 2009.  This inspite of the wrestlers being quite small and often useless on a microphone (Hi Amazing Red!) but it was the sheer quality of the wrestling and athleticism combined with ridiculous over the top spots (Hi Amazing Red!) that kept people coming back.

The rocknes monsters are vanilla midgets but to their credit they understand that having a gimmick matters

i don't know if i should bother responding to this dumb shit. Go look at some quarter hour ratings and then come back with an intelligent response, Sir Smarks-alot.

They put on great matches for the ONO PPVs so I'd be happy to see them return to have more great matches. However I'd rather they use one of the ex wrestlers working backstage as a manager figure. You can play them as weak heels by having the manager play up their strength but them constantly be overpowered and win by roll ups and cheating or as genuine faces with athleticism who are the underdogs to the powerful heels but win by running rings round them and high flying moves. There is potential if they get some to talk for them or improve on the mic.

Then do yourself a favour and put me on ignore.  I dont give a fuck what you think of my opinion.  Youve proven time and time again that you dont care about anybody elses opinion, just the "OMG RATINGS ARE EVERYTHING AND VINCE RUSSO IS MY JESUS" attitude you carry into every thread.  I dont care about Vince Russo.  I dont care about the ratings.  I dont care about whether somebody is big, small, fat, thin, blonde, brunette, black, white, yellow, purple, flourescent green etc.  I just care about being entertained.  TNA entertained me (And a whole lot more people) before 2010.

I dont care if you agree with me or not.  There are people on this site you can have reasonable discussions with... you arent one of them.

Russo had complete control before 2010 but thanks for noticing

Did I say that he didnt?  No.  I said I dont care about Russo.  I dont like him, I dont dislike him.  I.  Just.  Dont.  Care.

Dixie promised a hint on a new signing on Twitter if she got enough retweets.  The hint was DR and EE.  The American Wolves have signed for sure.

These guys put on classy matches. I don't mind seeing them back.

I hope these come back, always put on great matches

Young Bucks vs American Wolves vs Bad Influence... Yes! If Bro-Man's and EY & Park can straighten up and ditch the comedy a bit, there's a pretty good division in there...

Team up literally anybody with Hernandez and get them in there too.

i'll have to disagree with that one.  Sometimes having a bad team is worse than having no team, because they are taking up matches that could go to the good teams.  Find Hernandez a good partner, not a returning Chavo or Anarqia.  Maybe Jamin Olivencia? Maybe Knux if he's not being released?
