TNA Impact Wrestling Rating For September 5 2013

TNA Impact on Thursday, September 5 2013 scored a 0.98 rating according to PWTorch.com. This rating is slightly down from the previous week's 0.99 rating. Impact Wrestling averaged 1.310 million viewers. The viewership is up 5% from 1.246 million viewers last week.

In the key male demographic, Impact Wrestling was slightly below last week's show.

By comparison Cops now airing on SpikeTV, drew 1.296 million viewers and beat Impact in the adults 18-34 & 18-49 demographic.

The viewership is excellent. 1.3 million viewers is very good since it was going up against the season opener of the NFL with Broncos vs Ravens which I read drew 25 million viewers.

The .98 rating I think will be a bit misleading because I read that there is a new ratings system that Nielsen is using and that it will start this Fall season or has started and it will affect both Impact Wrestling and WWE shows with a lower than normal rating.

Chris Sabin's terrible acting = Ratings.

That's last September's rating average, too.

The rating is just a percentage of homes with cable service. Was the start of college and dorm cable what moved the rating lower?

AJ and Anderson are now king. Dance.

THAT is a great image!

It belongs to "Dizzy." It seemed appropriate though. Or not.

Mr. Anderson for president.

Now dance!

Edit: Here's hoping Anderson's turn isn't just a "Finger Poke of Doom" in the offing. He brought out some joy last night.

To me it is decent acting. The fact it is associate with pro wrestling and the absence of post-production / mastering made it appear worse than it actually was.

I knew that the rating wouldn't be effected  to much by NFL...... People want to blame other sporting events or shows, but  they do little to effect Impacts rating..

I think it probably did effect the rating.  There's a difference between having a huge effect on the rating and having a small effect.  The NFL probably does have a small effect on the rating.  For instance, the male demographic was down this week.  I don't think I have to point out that more men than women watch football.

Ratings went up against the NFL. No drama this week...

Another week without a least 1.0 rating

TNA need to raise up those viewers numbers, bound for glory is in 6-7 weeks away

No. He was crap.

No. He was crap.

He had some fairly well-delivered lines mixed in with the mostly poorly delivered ones, so perhaps they meant with some editing it could have been less embarrassing.
