- Impact averaged 1.054 million viewers, down 17 percent from last week's average of 1.270 million viewers. It was the fewest viewers of the year and the closest TNA has come to falling below one million viewers since the Monday Night Experiment in Spring 2010.

Dixie Carter Says She Would Be Open To A TNA vs WWE Crossover Event
"I don't think [the WWE] shares my belief in this, but I believe that competition is 100% positively essential,I think it's important for fans and for us. To have one company dominate, a) it's boring, and
you are not being challenged enough. It's always better to have other options out there and I truly believe it makes both companies better. absolutely would do that. I'm not sure if they would do that (a crossover event), but I absolutely would."

TNA Wrestler Zema Ion Undergoes Surgery. Could Have Major Surgery Soon
"Im alive! Seriously thank you all for the get well wishes. Means the world to me. I was rushed to the hospital last night for sharp stomach pains i was having. I couldnt stop puking. For like 9 straight hours. I didnt wanna go to the hosptial, but the pain was too much to handle. Thank god i went, as i ended up having appendicitis and had to have my appendix removed today. I consider this a blessing in disguise too, coz the cat scans also revealed that i have a tumor on my colon and will eventually need another surgery to try and remove it. Hoping it is not cancerous. Dixie Carter Interview: Talks Changes In TNA, Australia Tour, British Boot Camp Season 2 And More
Whether she still has the same enthusiasm as she did when she first entered TNA:
You know, I think I have more today than I ever have. I am so excited about where were at, the changes were making in the company and were really taking some major, major steps in 2013 So, no question, I'm more thrilled to be doing this today than I ever have been.
I think to have grown the company from a small little company that was losing a tremendous amount of money to being a global success in 10 short years. We didn't have huge backing and we really grew it one fan at a time and we grew it with every dollar that was in and we put back out. So that's a huge accomplishment, especially today that we've done that through a recession and to be more active to have made the big changes we have made this year about taking the show on the road and going down to 4 major pay-per-views and 8 pay-per-view specials. I think are all really big moves.
Whether she was a fan before coming into TNA:
Morning wrestling and you know people ask me like who I was a fan of when I was little as well when growing up and it was really Hulk Hogan. You know just larger than life, there was nobody bigger out there. That blonde hair and that charisma that just hits you through the TV. So through that I promoted wrestling at the University of Mississippi, where I went to school. But had I quit watching it before I got involved. I just wasn't a fan of the current product that had been out in the marketplace right before I got involved in TNA.
I would say that's probably one of our top goals in the company right now, is to take a tour down there I've been saying it for years, so I feel that people listening to me say. "Well, I've heard her say that before". But, it's a big challenge, we have gone through some. television changes and we just have to grow the audience enough to make sure that there is the demand for a tour, because it's a very expensive proposition to be able to do it the way we want to do. But I have to tell you there's nothing personally for me, there's no place more I'd rather go.
On the possibility of an Australian bootcamp or gut check:
Absolutely. Currently, British bootcamp is being aired in Australia which we are very excited about. But we've had some discussions about doing one, there's some amazing Australian talent that would be great for the show. So we're talking about it.
On the recent pay per view changes:
There's still 12 pay-per-views, but what we're doing is building the 4 major pay-per-views a year and then 8 are 3 hour taped specials called the "One Night Only" series. It was a huge decision for us, because we do make money on the pay-per-views and they we're profitable for us. So not only are we losing revenue from the top line, but also from a profit standpoint so for both on a gross standpoint is having an impact on our budget for this year. But I just felt like it was important to really, its hard to put that much focus and attention and make every single one special when you only have one television show out there. One major television show out there and so we really felt this was the best thing to do. Make 4 huge and then just do 8 that are just off the charts worthy.
On taking impact on the road:
It's just like touring Australia, it's a business decision. When I lay my head down on the pillow every single night, I have hundreds of employees and seventy wrestlers that their livelihoods depend on me and touring is an incredibly expensive proposition, especially television. So, too of done that five years ago this business wouldn't be in business today. had we even done it two years ago we would not be in business. It may be pushing it right now, but I felt now was the right time to push it, step out and take the risk to push it and so far so good_
On possibly having a second season of British Boot Camp:
We're working on that. I have a dinner tonight with the head of the network (ChallengeTV) and hopefully we'll have an announcement soon on that.
