@ Anderson: A simple loser leaves town match would be enough to get rid of him.

A Sacrifice wager match would do better with Garett's career on the line

Feast Or Fired? Yes.
Steel Asylum? No, I don't get how that match would make the company look second rate. The steel asylum matches were extremely good and I say they bring back the concept from the original one for Destination X this year. The winner is put in the World Title match later on in the show. Gimmick matches make wrestling less predictable and boring. I agree some of the complicated ones are stupid but just look at KOTM. The IWC loves that match yet it's one of the most complicated matches in history.

Feast or Fire match was a Pole match that didn't require a use of Ladder and had peoples carer on the line. That imo is more Creative then just a different name to a gimmick that has been around for years.
The only thing they had in commin are the briefcase
WWE is great at Marketing gimmicks and making them seam orginal like MITB and HITC.
Feast or Fired was more creative then MITB but that doesn't necessarily mean it's any good either. The match was usually a bigger clusterfuck than MITB due to it having around 12-13 people in one ring trying to fight over 4 briefcases on a pole. They of course had the fired briefcase to make the match a bit more interesting but the only people who were fired were lower card X Division stars like Curry Man and Shiek Abdul Bashir. Lets just face it this match would have never taken place if it wasn't for MITB and it's concept becoming popular. The idea may have been more creative but MITB's simple concept is one of the reasons why that gimmick has lasted so long.
