Ik some of you are reading this like wtf. But do you guys notice that Mad Max kinda had some influence on professional wrestling? Like Alex Shelley's prematch jacket is shockingly similar to the main character's jacket; Road Warriors or Legion Of Doom gear is obviously paying tribute to the bad guys; Lockdown has some Mad Max themes where there in a cage & it's filled with weapons hanging from the ceiling; the famous "1st person to grab the weapon is allowed to use it" stipulation match; I think the Steel Asylum or whatever that match is called looks shockingly like the Terrordome; Elimination Chamber looks like the Terrordome too. Did anyone else catch this besides me?

The obvious Road Warrior name, but another one I recognized was spinning the wheel. WCW did it with Sting/Jake the Snake "Spin the Wheel, Make a Deal" Match at Halloween Havoc in 92. The WWE has done it several times since.

Demolition used ring gear inspired by the movie last I checked as well as Sid Vicious starting out as Lord Humungous, which apparently was also based on a character from the movie series. And oddly, Kevin Nash was in one of those movies! Weird how many things came out of there into the wrestling world.

Shit was on AMC & I got to thinking about that. The Steel Asylum is basically TNA's Terrordome minus the weapons. Nash was in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Secret of The Ooze as well as Super Shredder in the last fight scene. Worst costume ever like that giant mexican from the WWF.
