April 10, 2012 is Austin Aries’ 213th day as TNA X Division Champion. That makes him the longest reigning TNA Champion of all-time. The previous record holders, Beer Money (former TNA Tag Team Champions), held the gold for 212 days from January 9, 2011 to August 9, 2011.

Nor will it. TNA filled the X-Division with a bunch of relative rookies. The only true competition for Aries would be Kid Kash from the current X-Division lineup, but maybe they will expand the ranks a bit with Destination X coming up. Not necessarily somebody new, but maybe somebody moving into the division like AJ, Kaz, Daniels etc.

So yeah grats Aries! I still dont rate it as much of an achievement as what Beer Money did because they held those titles in a highly competitive division, whilst Aries doesnt really have any competition at the moment. Still Aries is awesome and deserves everything TNA gives him.
