TNA Wrestler Kurt Angle has announced on his twitter page that he has pulled out of the Olympic trials.

The Doctors Say It's a partial tear which will take 4-6 Months w/ rehab. I Will have It Heavily Protected at Lockdown.

I've Had Prior Knee Injuries More Serious than this @ Still Won Ncaa's but I Must Put My Job in Tna 1st. Again, thank You all for Us Support

Ur Support. Your Prayers and Support Have motivated Me to Put On the Best Performance I Can at Lockdown, Considering My injuries.

As Zeke Jones told Me, We Were Hoping that Father time Would Hold Off Until After London Olympics. Unfortunately It Hit Me Hard 1 Month

I love Kurt to death and all, but I kinda had a feeling he wasn't gonna make it to the Trials or get on the Olympic team. I especially didn't like his chances after his latest hamstring/knee injury.

Plus it didn't help when he learned that drunk driving isn't actually an olympic sport.

i knew he wasn't going to compete again. Oh well glad he'd focused on TNA & now i don't have to sit around & act interested in sports i care or know aynthing about.

I was really pulling Kurt to actually make it to the Olympics, it actually would have been cool for a member of the TNA roster being represented at the Olympic games. Realistically though I knew he wasn't going to make it. Kurt hasn't wrestled Olympic style full time in over a decade so obviously it was going to be difficult on his body to adapt ot the heavy training that goes with this style of wrestling once again. Anyways I'm still glad he going to be able to wrestle at Lockdown even with his injury. After that match at Lockdown however it wouldn't suprise me if Kurt took a couple of months off to heal that injured hamstring.

I would laugh my ass off if he went through all of that in a promo, then just added in that his neck was ok as an after thought.

I won a freakin' gold freakin' medal with a freakin' broken freakin' neck and a broken freakin' spine and two freakin' broken arms and two freakin' broken legs and the sun was in my freakin' eyes and i was feeling kinda freakin' queasy after eatin' some bad freakin' Seafood and i had a large freakin' Tax bill at the back of my freakin' mind and there was a funny freakin' smell in the freakin' hall i think it was freakin' raw freakin' sewage...

...But I had a V8, so it cancelled out all of those things.
