Garrett is NOT better than Otunga. Sorry, but he just isnt. Otunga still has room for improvement, but Garrett should still be in training.

Garett should turn heel with EB as his manager.

I say this because EB can help him talk, and as a heel he works with a ton of faces most of which are tremendous in the ring which could help him from facing them, such as AJ Styles. etc. not saying the heels can't go, but Garett isn't big enough to do bully ray/gunner type moves, so they can't help him, Crimson is okay, but he's not experienced enough to be teaching as he's trying to learn himself, he's still fairly green. Daniels & Kaz are too fast paced. But if you look at all the faces: RVD, Devon, James Storm, Jeff Hardy, Mr. Anderson, AJ Styles, Eric Young, etc. Lot's to choose from and he can learn alot.

I wonder if the cowboy will be winning the title at Slammiversary, or even at all.

- James Storm announced last night that he will be taking time away from the ring, including live events. Storm cut a promo on last night's Impact Wrestling about having his luck run out, and followed that up with this tweet, "Emotional time in my life after Lockdown. Need time to think about what I need to do and will not be making live events. I apologize."
According to ProWrestling.net, word is this is an opportunity for James to fully heal from several nagging injuries. No word on how long he will be out.

- TNA issued a statement to PWInsider.com noting that several of the markets that allegedly had problems with transmissions of the Lockdown PPV in theaters actually ran without issue. There were some issues but the majority of the locations ran as scheduled. There were also instances of fans coming to Screenvision Theaters that weren't scheduled to screen the PPV looking for the showing, which actually showed some interest in the product - and that's only a good thing.

- The broadcast issues last night with Impact Wrestling were on SpikeTV's end.

- Garett Bischoff turns 28 today.

I've come to take every tweet from anyone related to TNA (current or former) with a massive grain of salt. They're doing a pretty good job of using the social media to make people curious again.

On a different note that should normally go on the ratings-thread, but seeing as it's closed: I just read an article in the Belgian newspaper that TV-ratings in the US are plummeting all over the country, regardless of channel. Mainly the 18-49 demographic seems to be suffering. ABC lost 21% of viewers this spring, FOX lost 20%, CBS 8% and NBC 3%. Multiple TV-shows have pulled the lowest ratings in their history these past few months.

Viewers aren't switching channels, but rather go out or download/watch a movie/show.

Not saying this is an excuse for TNA to have low ratings, but it might explain a thing or two.

Dunno. Right after Sacrifice, imo.
