But it's all about if it's Pritchard or Russo. Whatever happened to that?

WWE guys didnt draw a rating. sad when you think about that for a sec. tna guys drew a bigger rating before these new wwe guys came along. now the same wwe guys who never drew are drawing even lower ratings with the new creative in the captains seat.

Luke, get it through your fucking head. TNA aren't trying to get that magical 1.2 rating for life with a fanbase that still says "4 lyfe"(I'm so clever) They're trying to build their OWN fanbase so people don't tune in just to see Hogan, they tune in to see the TNA PRODUCT, and when a legend does appear, they get a solid boost in ratings. They could easily go back to the 2010 product where the band was "invading" and bring back 300,000-500,000 WCW marks who then turn off the channel whenever they don't see somebody familiar. Or they can continue their youth movement and if the network actually promotes them a little they could build their own fanbase for people like Storm, AJ, Aries, etc and people will tune in to see TNA, not to see their grey haired legends embarrassing themselves.

Hogan's contribution to ratings has been a 0.05 ratings increase. Look, i know you are bad with numbers so i will write this one out to you. Hogan increased the ratings ONE time past the best average TNA had without him. That number was a five-hundreths of a point. And lets just be fair here. Hogan has the highest quarter hour in TNA history at a 3.45 i think it is. Again, i look at average ratings. He never increased the viewership past one day. He never really drew any viewers to the product.

The average rating in 2010 was higher. That means every part of the show including the 'abandoned' xdivision was drawing higher. I know you are bad with numbers but please try to understand this stuff.

the ex WWE guys should get pushed, they're well known to a bigger audience.

despite the Q rating for the Garrett quarter, I think Garrett is a big reason why ratings have dropped since last October BFG when we first found out that Garrett was Bischoff's son and not referee Jackson James. this Q in particular I bet had more to do with Angle/Styles or even Flair than Garrett. TNA has been trying and trying to push Eric Bischoff's son Garrett for awhile now, and people really don't care. a lot of people even before we knew about Garrett already hated on Eric, then we find out his son not only in TNA but now over the last 6 months has been getting pushed more and more. he's not good in the ring, and personally I don't think he's all that good on the mic, and that he doesn't have all that good of a look either.
IMO the best thing TNA can do is get Garrett off TV and send him down to OVW. they had the chance at Lockdown and blew it.

there were technically difficulties, I think sometime early in the Styles/Angle match. I'm not sure if/when else. Dixie said on twitter that Spike was going to re air this episode this Thursday from 7-9. I think it would be funny if this re airing had a better rating that the original.

couldn't an option for TNA be to air Impact Wrestling from 8-10 instead of 9-11?

Yeah but what would be the gain besides getting the kiddies whose bedtime is at 10 to watch the whole show.

isn't that enough?
maybe TNA could get more people to watch the show if it ended at 10 instead of 11. not just the younger viewers but also adults who maybe have to go to bed earlier to wake up for work the next day.
I don't really know all the competition on Thursday nights, the only show I know a lot of the younger viewers watch is Jersey Shore which comes on at 10.

Trying? they've been trying for the past 10 years and they did have their OWN fanbase, only for them to turn away due to shitty booking. It's too little too late for them to 'try' now. No matter what they do, they're not going to get the fanbase they once had back.

I don't see TNA getting out of this ratings slump.
