Ric Flair called out Hulk Hogan. Flair agreed to be a judge for the Gut Check, but Flair made Hogan agree to "one last dance" down the road.
1. Brooke Tessmacher and Velvet Sky beat Madison Rayne and Gail Kim.
They did a bit where Bobby Roode and Rob Van Dam were allowed to choose the other's opponent for the night. Roode chose Jeff Hardy as RVD's opponent, and Van Dam chose Mr. Anderson to face Roode.
2. Devon defeated Rob Terry by DQ. Robbie E struck Devon with a clipboard, which shattered up impact, for the DQ.
3. Samoa Joe, Magnus, and A.J. Styles defeated Kurt Angle, Christopher Daniels, and Kazarian. Angle refused to tag himself out of the match. Kaz eventually tagged himself in and was hit with the Styles Clash for the loss. Angle left unhappy. Daniels promised to reveal the secret regarding Styles next week.
4. Rob Van Dam defeated Jeff Hardy. Bobby Roode cost Hardy the match when he accidentally hit him with a chair.
Bully Ray confronted Jeremy Borash over the Eric Bischoff drama from last week. Austin Aries ran out to rescue Borash and they brawled. Security held them back. Ray broke free and leveled Aries with a big boot.
There was also a Gut Check segment with Ric Flair, Al Snow, and Bruce Prichard serving as the judges. They gave Alex Silva a contract after he gave a speech on how much he wanted it and won Flair over with his intensity.
5. Bobby Roode defeated Mr. Anderson. Jeff Hardy interfered and leveled Roode. He went to check on Anderson, who had been laid out by a chair shot. Anderson thought it was Roode and hit the Mic Check on Hardy, then turned into a spinebuster from Roode and lost the match. Roode grabbed the chair and worked over Hardy and Anderson until RVD ran in. Roode exited the ring. As RVD was checking on Hardy, Roode snuck back in and laid out RVD with the chair to end the show.
Xplosion
Crimson defeated Douglas Williams.

You mean as the judge Sarita or Tara. On that note I think Taeler Hendrix or Epiphany will get the first Gutcheck challenge match for the knockouts.

I can see that. I wonder any change they use devon as judge when they bring in a tag team.

TNA's really going to sign that Alex Silva guy? I didn't really think he got a fair shot last week since TNA put him up against the most lazy, untalented, worthless, piece of shit jobber on the roster and he basically jobbed to him. The fact that he not only lost, but jobbed to another jobber wouldn't make me think he deserves a contract. Seriously, how hard will it be to top that *kayfabe* shitty performance? If they were going to sign him they could have let him at least get a decent wrestler to work with and not job in 2 minutes.

Would make the most sense to have judges that specialize in a certain area. Like Flair the main event/heavyweight scene; AJ or Kash for the X-Division; Sarita or Tara for the Knockouts; & Devon or Shelley for the tag-team division.

Oh God... You don't know sh*t (what a huge surprise).
TNA needs to make their stars look good. That means even TNA lowcarders NEED to completely destroy guys like Silva.

Silva was very unimpressive plus they should've picked someone more formidable & qualified than Robbie E. Maybe Douglas Williams or Kid Kash.

It would appear Garett is nowheres to be seen. Maybe Joe's ninja's took him.
Sidenote: One thing I dislike about the gutcheck thing is that it's an actual match. meaning there's a winner and a loser, if the guy does get brought in as a new talent, he's already going to look like a jobber upon debut, why not they just give a timelimit to go out there and test their skills with a TNA wrestler or even another unsigned talent. Dunno just seems to me when the guy is debuting on TV and his first match he already lost to the weakest member of the TNA roster (Robbie E) what does that say about the talent in the first place?

Or why not just have Flair (or even Sting) do all of the judging, who knows talent better then a guy whose spanned over 4 decades and faced pretty much everybody.

He didn't need to job to Robbie. Silva is a jobber from the start now thanks to that worthless loser. Well not thanks to him, but Mr. Resthold in 90 seconds didn't do him any favors. Point is now this guy "set the standard" for the rest of the gutchecks. Either all of the remaining gutchecks will just be jobs(which people will catch on, let's give casual fans a little credit) or they have to sign everybody because whoever gets even a little offense in or whoever cuts a below average promo technically "deserves" a contract.
