I'll always believe that tna made a huge mistake in letting jarrett win. They had such a good build, raven should of won. Then they could of did the extreme reunion bullshit again.

I dont think it was the match itself that was one of the greatest moments in TNA, but rather the entire rivalry from start to finish. Jarrett had just defended his title in a gauntlet match against S.E.X and then Raven shows up, DDTs him and steals the belt. This then started a rivalry that was built up for weeks, nay months, on a show that had a format of weekly PPVs. Before this feud, the title had basically just been defended at a couple of weeks notice, or even just from matches booked on the night and this was the first real rivalry that was given time to build.
Kinda the same with Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle at Lockdown 2008. it wasnt just the match itself that was great (Although it really was a good match. I think its one of these top 10 moments), it was all about the months worth of build up to the title match and the rivalry that had spanned several years before that.

I hated Jarrett as Champ. As bad as Triple H IMO.

Not only was it the first real rivalry but it was also the first major match in TNA's history. At that time Raven and Jarrett were the company's biggest stars and this match at the time was biggest in company history due to that. It was how you say TNA's first real main event in a way.
