This.

it's nice to see Silva in TNA and all that good stuff. it isn't like i have a high or low expecation of him, i just know TNA has a "revolving door" mentality when it comes to pushing talent so it's interesting to see what happens when his time is up for display.

I actually liked Magnus when he first joined TNA. Now as far as Alex Silva goes, he after all is in the X-Division, and X-Division guys to TNA a about a dime a dozen. I mean the only X-Division guys that TNA are keeping have already left the X-Division or don't wrestler regularly in the X-Division ie; A.J., Kaz, Daniels, MMG. Austin Aries seems to be the next. Yes, Robbie E. is a X-Division guy wrestling outside the X-Division, this is a bit off when it comes to him. But as far as Alex Silva goes, he's 100% X-Division and 100% on not getting booked much.

Magnus was shit. He got a load of hype a vignettes for several months before he actually came in, then TNA realised how bad he was and the whole "gladiator" part of his gimmick was dropped (Which is why he simply goes by "Magnus", rather than "Brutus Magnus" which was the name he debuted with.) and they had to stick him with Doug Williams just so that he didnt look so terrible.

Sure, its worked out now and Magnus is a future top name for TNA. However his training shouldve been completed before he was signed. TNA now has OVW for this exact purpose and they should be using it for Alex Silva.

I remember when they were hyping up his Tormentum finisher but it was nothing more then a lame twisting samoan drop

Well, to be honest, I didn't like this guy's match, didn't like his promo and didn't like his face (I don't know why exactly). I hope he'll perform well and if he doesn't – I hope they get rid of him fast.
