Wrestling is all about bumping, selling, throwing punches, chops and all the basic stuff. Everything else is fluff. I firmly believe there can be a wrestling match that is LEGENDARY with just those moves I mentioned. All you need is story. Not a single suicide dive.
P.S: Correction. Hogan can't teach him about selling. Everything else is good though.

This basically. I was actually going to write something similar to this. I think a good example to a match like that was Sting vs Hogan at BFG 2011.
Off topic: Im proud to say i just rep you your 666

What's so different about 2012? Wrestling is still operating on the same ancient concept. Big egos collide over a belt, an argument or both. Feud ends in a match that tells a story which reflects the feel of what happened in the previous weeks and gives those big egos a representation in the ring. At least that's what is supposed to happen but TNA and WWE have wonderful ways of fucking that up.
Just because some indy douchebags figured m0vezzz is better than telling a story and cutting great promos doesn't mean the business has changed. Watch Shawn Michaels vs 'Taker (either of them), or 'Taker vs HHH (the latest ones) and you'll know exactly what I mean. Sure they have their big spots but 90% of the match is basic moves + story. Every year regardless of how crazy some matches get, the only one that feels rather special is the annual 'Taker match. There's something different about it. Something right. Punk can go and smark his ass off all he wants, hit elbow drops, flying this, flying that, Bryan can do all hit all of his dumb moves and technical sequences but NOTHING beats a good story in the ring.
Why is 'Taker a legend? Is it because of his moves? Nope. What about Shawn? Rock? Austin? Sting? Hogan? Should I go on?

The REAL story here is SEVERAL MMA fighters are interested in TNA which tells me they have started a potential trend that can create some serious attention. All It takes is for one domino to fall for others to catch interest.
