- All of the backstage vignettes last night on Impact Wrestling were unscripted in that none of the verbiage was given to the talents involved. They knew where they were going and were pretty much told to treat it as a serious situation like athletes would talking to their coach as a way to build up the importance of the title and getting the title shot. There are a lot more plans to let the talents speak in their own words and not tightly script them going forward, as the feeling is it will accentuate the talents and differentiate the TV show from WWE's presentation. So, if you liked what they did last night, that's part of the changes TNA is planning going forward.

- Joey Ryan will be back next week for the Gutcheck judging. According to PWInsider, one of the reasons that the Gutcheck is being done once a month is to test it as a potential spin-off concept for the company down the line.

- The TNA BaseBrawl event at Appalachian Power Park in Charleston, West Virginia has been moved to September 8th, 2012. It's original date was August 17th, 2012.
The TNA BaseBrawl event at the Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington, Kentucky has been moved to September 13th, 2012. It's original date was August 18th, 2012.

I like that fact that thye're letting people go unscripted, but for god sake limit it to those who they know can deliver a good promo.
When going live they do not want to be giving Anderson a live Mic with no script.

"Well you know something... i'm an asshole, you're assholes and i'm an asshole too. You know who else is an asshole? Me... and you people too... and ofcourse me. I'm an asshole just like you... and you're assholes just like me. We're all assholes... but i'm the king of the assholes... you people. You're the assholes... and so am i..."

You forgot to add the weird pauses when he gets super tense and chews his gum loudly for 3 seconds before continuing.

I thought that part of the show was awesome. If it was unscripted, these guys really did a great job at winging it.

I know some people might complain it was too insider.

I got to hand to Bischoff and company last night for that awesome segment, can't wait to see more in the future especially with TNA going live next week.

I liked the unscripted nature of it, but the entire scene was fucking terrible. The awful camera shots, the ridiculous faux-reality TV music etc.

One of the better show openings I have seen in a very long time. I was glued to the screen .

Seriously, they need to get rid of that stupid music effect.

Is this the reason why Jeff Hardy spoke only one line?

Because he isnt interesting enough to deliver any lines without yelling "CREATURES!"

I don't know this for a fact, but I imagine nothing will change. They will record matches before or after Impact.

I sort of liked it; but it ran a little long. Started getting redundant. Or maybe it was just Hogan saying the same thing over and over. I don't know which is worse, Hogan stuttering and stammering without a script; or making whatever scripted promo he's delivering the worst ever with his lame acting skills.

I hated it, too long and way too much focus on Hogan. Seriously, they all won matches so they could go to the back room and listen to Hogan ramble? I hate when it is portrayed that these shows are just throw together on a whim. What happen to the days of preparing for a match or working your way up the ladder?

What's wrong with Hogan do his job as GM? It's little bit long but he's no slouch. He know his stuff. I guess some people will not satisfy with anything that have to do with Hogan, unless he retire from the business for good.

I hate the GM position it is stale and as stated before, I hate the idea that matches are booked on the fly. I hate that so much time is spent on non-wrestlers. Cut that in half and two matches could have been doubled in length.
