According to pwinsider.com A student from Team 3D's pro wrestling school named Lance was used as the stand-in for the masked Abyss for last night's TNA Slammiversary X 2012 pay per view.

I didn't think Abyss(Joseph) was fast enough for that wardrobe change. Plus, the chokeslam looked awkward. Best strictly entertainment match since Hogan vs. Sting at BFG, though.

Makes me wonder why they had Joseph Parks roll under the ring if that wasnt the real Abyss that came out. Wouldnt it have made for a much better moment if Abyss had appeared, chokeslammed Bully Ray through a table and then given Joseph Parks a face off before leaving again?

Yeah, I don't really get why they had "Joseph" roll under the ring if they were going to have a body double. May as well have had them in the same place at the same time. It's pretty much too late for a "split-personality" angle, since Joseph was in the ring, talking to Abyss "in the back" on the video screen on Impact.

It didn't really detract from it being a fun match and a great overall show.

Patience guys. They are most likely plaing with us on this one. The casual viewer is going to say, "it's the same guy, he changed under the ring." this gives them a chance at a small swerve if they appear together this Thursday or later. Just a theory. Don't over-analyze this story anyway. Just enjoy the ride.

Or Eric Angle? Probably more like the Killer Bees since a mask is involved.
