Abyss has been confirmed for the upcoming AAA TV tapings in Orizaba on June 30. Abyss, who still holds one half of the AAA World Tag Team Titles is scheduled to once again team with his AAA tag partner Chessman to defend the titles against Cuervo and Ozz.

All well and good; but when are we going to see AAA stars in TNA?

Abyss needs to carry his Tag title with him on Impact like Jarred did his AAA Heavyweight title.. Just to help promote it then some of the guys from AAA can show up & attack him, thus creating the AAA invasion.

The chances of us ever seeing AAA stars in TNA is slim to none at this point. The problem is it does nothing for either company if AAA comes on TNA television. Think about it the only reason TNA even started this working agreement is because they wanted a foothold in the Latin American wrestling market and AAA in return gets big name American wrestling talent to appear at their shows. Essentially if AAA let their wrestlers appear on TNA television they get simply get nothing in return. It's not like there going to win the American audience over because their show only airs for the most part in Mexico. AAA wrestling in TNA does nothing for TNA either. It's not like the average audince is going to care about some no name Mexican wrestlers. I personally would love to see some AAA talents in a TNA ring however from a buisness perspective the idea would be totally useless and wouldn't do anything for either promotion.

We can't because AAA cannot send its stars to the States without Steven Ship's (LLUSA owner) permission as he owns the "rights" for AAA in the States and he does not want to give them permission. That was also the reason why TNA had to cover up the AAA logo on Jarrett's Title and never mentioned AAA on IMPACT. Supposedly though, according to Konnan, that issue may be resolved soon so that would open up the door for AAA wrestlers appearing in TNA, in theory. At that point it would be up to TNA if they want to bring in anyone or not.

AAA airs nationally in the United States on Galavision. Stars like La Parka and Rey Mysterio Jr. were able to get over with U.S. audiences in WCW. If advertised and promoted (a serious IF when it comes to TNA, this is still one of their biggest problems) it could do a lot to help increase their hispanic audience.

On top of that, with Chris Sabin on the shelf, and an X-Division title tournament likely, with the X-Division themed pay per view coming up, there is no better time to bring in some AAA stars, at least in the short term. They wouldn't have to dominate the show, in fact they shouldn't. However, being a part of the tournament, or gauntlet match, or however TNA decides to handle the title, would be a good idea. TNA even has bargaining chips since Triplemania is coming up and AAA want more TNA talent for the show.

It could work out that there may be a few AAA stars that could win over the general audience. I guess we won't know until some are given a chance.
