Can someone explain the mythology behind the symbolism of 2 8s (1 spade & 1 club) & 2 Aces (1 club & 1 spade)? How does this tie into this mystery guerilla faction that's coordinating these hit & run assaults? Also who was their "gopher" or "errand boy"?

Noticed that @TheAcesAnd8s is now following Hogan on Twitter in addition to Sting. I wonder if their "Following" list will serve as their hit list.

I can see this being Jeff Jarrett's new faction with it being the Dead Man's hand that Wild Bill Hickock had and Jarrett is fitting for a Western Outlaw vibe. Either way this is a really Cool angle thats unfolding so far...

It's got my attention I hope the payoff keeps me interested unlike the current state of the AJ/Dixie angle which is being carried by Daniels appletennie and Kaz's "you get junkie whores pregnant" line. If they introduce the aces and eights and nobody knows who the hell they are this is gonna fall flat very quickly and I can't think of anyone it can be outside of Jarrett at this point.

If it is Jarrett, it'd make sense considering he and Sting have had their wars in the past. However, if it isn't Jarrett...

The only way it'd really make sense is if it is someone who should be, at least in their mind, the first TNA Hall of Famer and someone who has a history with Sting. It could also be a few people, led by one in particular. Frankly Jarrett is really the only name coming into mind right now as absolutely perfect for the role but if I had to pick a second "mastermind" of the group it would most likely be John Bradshaw Layfield. JBL's a well-known card player, uses people to beat others up for him, and thinks he's a wrestling god. His "history" with Sting would basically not exist, so it'd have to be he just wanted to be in the HOF or some other nonsense thinking if Jarrett opts out of the storyline.

It would have been great if Undertaker was the guy... but he's locked up in contract to WWE and it isn't his style to send someone to do his work for him. So the only real way this thing can work is if Jarrett is in with perhaps some guys like Daniels and Kazarian to carry Sting for a few good matches before his big match with JJ.

If it HAS to be Jeff Jarrett, then I would suggest that Jarrett changes his look a little bit: Dye the hair slick black and grow a dark hulk hogan fu manchu  .

I'm not sure what we'll see Thursday with the Ace's & 8's appearance, but I'd say maybe we won't see Jarrett right away. I'm thinking it could be similar to how they built his debut in Ring Ka King...

Who else thought for a second that the A&8 representative in Hogan's office last week was an overweight Vince Russo?

First post but here you go my thoughts on who they are.

Jeff Jarrett - The Leader
Jesse Godderz - OVW
Johnny Spade - OVW
Cliff Compton (Domino in WWE) - OVW
Chris Masters

All signs point to double j. as everyone knows, im the biggest cliff compton mark there is, so i would love that.

however, if they are going with a swerve (with i really hope they dont do), it could be garett bishoff. he's been off tv and may feel that hogan and sting owe him something for getting rid of eric, which we'll find out he did unwillingly for some sort of title shot.

last but not least, the darkhorse in all this is joey ryan, but it wouldnt make too much sense since he'd rather go after taz. i can picture him being in it though
