HISTORY AS A WRESTLING FAN: Well I remember back when I was about 5 It was pretty late at night, atleast for me. I came out from a nightmare and saw my dad watching wrestling, I can't remember exactly what it was, Assuming WWF because both HBK and Bret Hart were on it, and it was amazing, I also remember seeing The Road Warriors. From there I would sneak up with my dad, whenever I went there, because my parents split up when I was 2, And eventually I'd get to the age where I watched it on my own, or with my older brother but around 13 he moved away leaving me alone to watch it by myself, I'd watch all kinds of stuff, The newer ECW stuff not super oldschool stuff, But the stuff from the last few years before it went out of business, I'd watch WCW, Where I discovered this really cool guy, don't know if you remember him, his name was Sting And luckily I was watching the monday night wars, so it really helped me get in to professional wrestling, I remember after that I saw things like The Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz and E&C have some really great matches, It was so amazing, Stone cold was the ultimate badass you wish you were, The Rock was one of the funniest guys you have ever saw, I grew up with these people. Then the invasion angle began, It was kinda cool seeing that all the old talent of ECW and WCW weren't gone forever. Then something happened in 02 WWF became WWE, People were leaving, The Rock went on to become a Hollywood actor, Stone Cold retired, People were getting fired, people were retiring, people were dieing, but you still had good stuff, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, The Returning HBK. The whole Evolution thing was awesome, aswell as JBL. But I became so interested in wrestle around these times, I discovered TNA when it debuted on Spike. I saw Alex Shelly Vs Chris Sabin Vs Petey Williams, this was the greatest match I have ever seen at the time, when petey hit the Canadian Destroyer I thought TNA was the greatest thing ever, As time went by, Brock Lesnar went to MMA, RVD went on Semi-retirement, Kurt Angle went to TNA, Eddie Guerrero passed on, Benoit passed on, Wrestling started to feel depressing to me, I watched WWE and all i saw was some retard named John Cena spinning some stupid WWE Championship spinner belt, I saw Edge and Lita fucking in the ring, I saw ECW brought back, and demolished ever single bit of anything, straight down to Tommy being the only one left, and then even him leaving. I watched TNA more and more, I saw people like AJ Styles, Americas most wanted, The Naturals, Chris Daniels, Raven, Jeff Freakin Hardy for awhile, and all this stuff. I started watching more and more, you had the Dudleyz come in, you had Kurt Angle, You had Christian, My mind was blown. TNA brought back the spark wrestling has been missing for years, Sure WWE has had a few talent that really captured my mind, People like John Morrison, CM Punk, Sheamus, Evan Bourne. TNA eventually brought in people like Mr. Anderson, RVD, hell even desmond wolfe, the spark was officially back, Then a guys like Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Evan Bourne and now even Low Ki have really got me in to this whole independent stuff. But that's basically it.
Wrestlers that really made wrestling for me:
-Bret Hart
-HBK
-Hardy Boyz, E&C, Dudley Boyz
-Road Warriors
-New Age Outlaws
-Rob Van Dam
-Chris Jericho
-Sting
-Kane
-Petey Williams
Current Favorites:
-RVD
-Chris Jericho
-Sheamus
-Desmond Wolfe
-Mr. Anderson
-AJ Styles

HISTORY AS A WRESTLING FAN: Started watching wrestling back in 1998. Got infected by this "virus" by my Dad. After WCW broke down I switched my attention to WWE. Nearly one year later, while I was sitting at home switching from one tv channel to the other, I finally saw an episode of TNA Impact. I kept watching TNA, on german television, as long as it was possible. Unfortunately you can no longer receive TNA on free TV. Damn it ...
Forgive me if my sentences are a bit confusing. It is the first time that I log in an English speaking forum. Maybe I am able to improve my English by chatting with some of you guys.

Welcome. That's not bad English either. Better than some English speaking people.

HISTORY AS A WRESTLING FAN: Started watching wrestling back in 2004. I didn't get fully into it until I witnessed the Taker/Orton feud from back in 06 and the Angle/Henry match on SmackDown. Ever since then, I grew into a serious fan. And for a guy who hasn't really spent a decade watching it, I soaked alot in.
I was addicted to WWE back then. At the time, I wasn't a PPV buyer and even if I wanted too. I'm not one, like most IWC guys I watch the smark way via stream. Like I said, I was a serious WWE fan. About 2007 is when I found a little thing called TNA and I hated it, I joked around with it at first but I believe it was a holiday week and I was sick at home with no good TV shows on and I watched it. I slowly became a casual viewer and to my own surprise, I was loving it about 3 weeks in. The ironic thing is, while I began to love it I also began disliking WWE and how they handled alot of things.
I've been called a TNA mark for sharing my criticism with WWE. Which is funny. That's probably the first thing you would notice about my opinions. I also considered CM Punk to be one of my wrestling idols....It's incredible how turned off I have become from him but that's another story.
I'm currently a student with plans to become a writer or producer for Television shows.
