damn I did expect a higher viewer count. I could care less about the rating number. I think the decision to tape in the uk was made late so the hype for the previous weeks leading up to this event on impact was poor. All it was was a little image in the corner saying uk in 2 weeks and 1 uk in a week...and that was done AFTER those impact zone shows were taped. With more hype and proper promotion next year, if they want to make taping in the uk an annual event (they better) then there will, not should, will be a higher viewership which will then lead to a higher rating.

I don't think advertising and promoting has ruined the rating, because they have promoted the hell out of it this week, especially on Twitter.
It would be nothing short of amazing if somebody was unaware of the taping in the UK.

Why its down, well that's a complete mystery :/

Hopefully the UK ratings for it will be a record high, or at least higher than the 100,000's its been getting recently!

For the people who didnt tune in this week, i believe they will tune in next week because everyone has been talking about this episode. Outside of Garett, this was an excellent show that is overshadowing anything else going on in professional wrestling.

im not saying that it wasnt promoted. It was heavily promoted everywhere else except on Impact. 3 weeks of tapings and only two mentions of impact going to the UK??? A problem that I have no doubt will be fixed by late december/early january of next year.

Considering they did not promote this very well, I am not surprised. Hopefully the buzz from this show will reflect on the ratings next week. Unfortunately, in 2 weeks it's back to Orlando. They need to bite the financial bullet and do about six straight weeks of taping on the road and see if they can gain some momentum from that.

Doesn't suprise me, with basically no promotion of this episode on Impact. When Tenay mentioned the UK tapings on the Impact before, he couldn't have sounded more "I don't give a damn."

Im telling you Impact Wrestling is still a very young company. They are learning from mistakes and i believe this is going to be their best year ever. to come off of this and go back to the impact zone for a ppv is really dissapointing.

I was thinking the same damn thing....as if he said it over a cell phone and didnt want someone to hear him.

As good as it turned out product wise, this should have been planned a lot better. It should have been announced a good 6 weeks in advance. I don't think it's fair to blame an announcer for not giving this a better sell job. With the short notice, this was TNA's version of a shotgun wedding. Big promo packages on Impact would have been helpful. The fault has to be hung on TNA management. That said, these UK Impacts could be used as big building blocks for the companies growth in the long term.

I would let it slide, if Tenay and Taz wouldn't undersell everything. No matter what happens in the ring, backstage, etc.

put it this way. was it an increase from last week? YES. Could it have been better promoted? YES. Will this happen again if they tape in the U.K. on an annual basis? NEVER AGAIN. They will learn from this mistake.

I will ask this again, and I will CONTINUE to ask it until someone is able to make it, HOW DO these sites supposedly get this info? How is it proven that these numbers don't come from someones mind who is living in their parents basement than he passes it out to the other sites as supposed fact? Just how do we realisticly know, or are they just for the purpose of discussion and theory?

I think it's easier to read it for yourself: http://en.wikipedia....Nielsen_ratings

The ratings numbers don't come out of nowhere, but a margin of error always exists, of course.

THEY SAY THAT ALL MEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. BUT YOU LOOK AT ME AND YOU LOOK AT SAMAO JOE AND YOU CAN SEE THAT STATEMENT AINT TRUE. SEE NORMALLY IF YOU GO ONE ONE WITH ANOTHER WRESTLER YOU GOTTA 50/50 CHANCE OF WINNING. BUT IM A GENETIC FREAK AND IM NOT NORMAL! SO YOU GOT A 25 AT BEST AT BEAT ME AND THEN YOU ADD KURT ANGLE TO THE MIX. YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING DRASTICALLY GO DOWN. SEE THE THREE WAY AT SACRIFICE YOU GOTTA 33 AMD A THIRD CHANCE O WINNING. BUT I GOT A 66.2'3RDS CHANCE A WINNIN COZ KURT ANGLE KNOW HE CAN'T BEAT ME AND HE NOT EVEN GONNA TRY. SO SAMOA JOE YOU TAKE YOU 33 1/3 CHANCE MINUS MY 25% CHANCE YOU GOT AN 8 AND 3RD CHANCE OF WINNING AT SACRIFICE. BUT THEN YOU TAKE ME 75% CHANCE OF WINNING IF WE WAS TO GO ONE ONE AND THEN ADD 66 2/3RD CHANCE THEN I GOT 141 2/3RD CHANCE OF WINNING AT SACRIFICE SEE SAMOA JOE THE NUMBER DONT LIE AND THEY SPELL DISASTER FOR YOU AT SACRIFICE.

You've asked this like 5 times and every single time someone has answered you.
