Report by Eddie Mathis

(1) Eric Young & ODB beat TV champion Robbie E. & Rob Terry. Typical EY comedy match with a dance-off, multiple lock-ups with the ref, etc. ODB and Young got the double pin after ODB kicked both Robs between the legs and EY came off the top with a dropkick to Terry.

(2) X Division champion Austin Aries beat Zema Ion and Jesse Sorensen in a three-way match to retain the X Division Title. Good match, with fast-paced X Division action. Aries won by submitting Ion.

(3) Knockouts champion Gail Kim beat Velvet Sky to retain the Knockouts Title. Good Knockouts match. Kim got the pin, then Sky stuck around after Kim left and celebrated with the crowd as if she had won.

(4) A.J. Styles beat Kazarian. Match of the Night. Excellent back and forth action with A.J. getting the pin after reversing a roll-up.

(5) Gunner (w/Ric Flair) beat Garett Bischoff. Flair got on the mic and spoke of all the great times he has had in Florence, then put over both Gunner and Bischoff, going as far as calling Gunner a future World champion. He then swore he would not interfere. Gunner then pinned Bischoff after Flair interfered and later distracted the ref.

(6) James Storm & Jeff Hardy beat TNA World Hvt. champion Bobby Roode & Kurt Angle. No reason was given why a tag match was booked as opposed to the two singles matches that were billed. The finish saw Hardy hit the Twist of Fate on Roode for the pin. Good main event with all of the wrestlers interacting with the crowd.

Notes:

-- The attendance was really good. I would put it at 1,500 to 1,750, which surprised me after hearing of the poor turn-out in Columbia, S.C. on Thursday night. The event was advertised well throughout the Florence area leading up to the show.

-- Jeremy Borash mistakenly asked the crowd if they were having fun "here in Columbia tonight!"

-- Jeff Hardy had the biggest pop of the night and it wasn't even close. Styles and Flair were second and third. Roode caught the most heat.

-- Finally, Don West is the hardest-working man in TNA. The man was selling something all night long.
