Katie Hebner, the daughter of TNA referee Earl Hebner, has stated on her Twitter page that she wants to be a TNA Knockout.

Katie had a brush with Knockout fame in 2008 when she made an appearance on Impact as Gail Kim‘s on-screen sister, Katie Kim, as Gail battled Awesome Kong in Gail’s final match of her first TNA run. The storyline and Katie were dropped after Gail left the company to head back to WWE.

Tweeting to Gail’s fiancé, celebrity chef Robert Irvine, Katie confirmed she was indeed Earl’s daughter and a “Knockout in training”.

Katie’s father is currently the senior official for TNA and was previously the senior official for WWE. Katie’s brother, Brian Hebner, is also a referee for TNA.

I'm trying to refrain from posting something really mean. But hell no. Every wrestlers children has a phase in their little lives where they ponder in their heads "well daddy is a wrestler & we need to keep the family legacy alive". Fuck no sit down shut up & watch from backstage or on the road. I'm sick to death of these lazy ass, self-righteous second & third generation wrestling children saying I want to wrestle. Wrestling isn't for everyone ask Lacey Von Eric or Flair's kids.

The Rock is 3rd generation.

Randy Orton is 3rd generation.

The Road Dogg is 2nd generation.

There have been good 2nd/3rd generation wrestlers and there have been bad ones. You cant make a blanket statement about them just because theres one or two particular people you dont like.

Not sure what is there to judge or hate. You gotta start off somewhere and wrestling is filled with 2nd and 3rd generation wrestlers.

It won't hurt to let her train and give her a few tryout matches, if she has any talent they could give her a developmental contract and let her work in OVW. Seriously it's not like TNA is going to lose here if she isn't good enough for television

She is not even 18, so we won't see her for awhile. I wonder how she was in TNA 4 years ago though.

Why all the hate?

She wants to be a TNA Knockout and thats perfectly fine. She wants to be apart of TNA which is great. And we dont know how good she might be in the future since all we know about her is she is Hebner's daughter (and she is Asian). This is why the OVW thing is great for TNA. Sign her to a cheap deal and let her train with the best trainers in the US at OVW, she could be the female version of Randy Orton.

She could also totally suck but we wont know that to be the case for a few years so lets be optimistic as oppossed to pessimistic

She was in the crowd as Gail Kims sister. She came into the ring once after a particularly nasty beatdown by Kong on Gail Kim iirc, but never got involved in any actual wrestling.

@minters not to burst your bubble but there have been more than 3 or 2 sinkers. Sim Snuka; Joe Hennig; both Flairs; Golddust; Ted Hart; Husky Harris; Dakota Darsow; & Lacey Von Eric to name a few. But hey if she proves me wrong & comes out of OVW as the best star since Tara or whoever hell then good luck to her she's making money & is obviously in it for the right reasons. But the 3rd generationers & 2nd generationers of lately are spoiled duds. Except a handful. Btw Ik the Rock's & Road Dogg's family & whatever.

And there have been more than 2 or 3 2nd and 3rd generation stars who HAVENT failed to make it.

Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Cody Rhodes, Gold Dust (Sure I wasnt a fan, but that sure as hell doesnt mean he didnt make it), Alberto Del Rio, Bob Orton, Chavo Guerrero, Eddie Guerrero, Cheerleader Melissa/Alyssa Flash, "Mr Perfect" Curt Hennig, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Dean Malenko, Jeff Jarrett, Yokozuna.....

So I named more than you so that means that all 2nd/3rd generation wrestlers are successful right? This is why you cant make blanket statements.

Alot of those guys you mentioned are older. I said as OF LATELY not years ago. Lol those guys you mentioned aren't fresh. 3 people on that list are fresh like this past decade. Cody Rhodes is good but hasn't held a world title yet or peaked. Chavo was underutilized but a good tag-team specialist. Btw were talking about the present batch & wrestlers that have been on tv in the last ten years actively. I respect the deceased but realistically they don't count. Some 2nd geners are bred & raised to wrestle some want to do it to pay tribute to their heritage & then some wake up out of nowhere & decide to it. I'd rather get a 2nd generation guy that is bred to wrestle.

Pure boredom at work so i'll contribute....

2nd generation wrestlers:
Barry Windham
Tully Blanchard
Cody Rhodes
Alberto Del Rio
Ted Dibiase Sr
Dory Funk Jr
Greg Valentine
Juventud Guerrera
Eddie Guerrero
Ayako Hamada
Bret Hart
Owen Hart
Curt Hennig
Jake Roberts
Jeff Jarrett
Lanny "The Genius" Poffo
Bryan "Christopher" Lawler
Dean Malenko
Rey Mysterio
Rikishi(?)
Natalya
Bob Orton
Dustin Rhodes
Randy Savage
Kerry Von Erich
Yokozuna

3rd Gen:
Randy Orton
The Rock
"Squire" Dave Tayor
Chavo Guerrero

As to current and all that..... *Scratches head* Seems like the issue of new guys not being ready or lighting it up extends beyond just wrestlers kids and is effecting everyone. Weird how there's one major promotion and no territories left and the business is suffering. Just saying.

Still don't want her in TNA, though.

Point I've been trying to make for the past few hours is wrestling isn't for every single 2nd generation person. Yeah history has had their hits & misses. Hope she's a hit I still i don't want her wrestling hell be the 1st female asian referee for the Hebners. Make Earl proud & throw those stripes on.

Quite frankly the woman is goddamn ugly. Like she makes Mickey Knuckles, Rosie Lottalove & Rosita look like grade-A women. Her cheekbones irritate me like 1 of those mask I see when I'm watching Worlds Dumbest on Trutv & the guy runs in there with a mask of a caricature of someone. I don't feel like looking at her face for 2-7 minutes every TNA match.
